1-00 The festival opens with the Bones and Bodhran Bush Band. Rudy will be our MC.
1-30 - Welcome by Cr. Mike Clarke Environmental quiz with questions asked by Mike and prizes distributed by Jackie, Cecilia and Jen.
1-30 to 3-30 Trash Puppets workshop
1-45 - Rudy invites people to stay to listen to some music until 2-15. They can also play platypus games with Jen Taylor and Cecilia Imre until 2pm.
2-00 - Treasure Hunt with Leap into Nature, Animals of Oz presentation at 2 as well.
2-15 - Platypus games with Jen and Cecilia, band has a break until 2-30
2-30 to 3-30 PLATYPUS CONCERT - original platypus songs with the Bones and Bodhran Bush Band.
2-45 Our play, narrated by parks Vic Ranger, Andrew Van Vloten, ‘How the Platypus Came to Be’. Children will participate with assistance from adult volunteers.
3-00 - more music and songs until 3-30, Animals of Oz presentation at 3 as well.
3-15 - Treasure Hunt with Leap into Nature
3-30 - Creekside planting with Gavin Prentice
4-00 - 5-00 Band, ‘The Bean Project”. Free barbecue. Macro invertebrates,
5-00 Platypus walk and talk.
The story tent and screen printing will be available all day.
